The lovebirds or inseparable are parrots that have nine types of species that are: Canus, Fischer, lilianae, nigrigenis, personatus, pullarius, roseicollis, swinderniana and taranta.

Dominant mutations of agapornis roseicollis
- Violet: This bird instead of the blue color turns purple
- Harlequin: colorful birds, yellow feathers
Recessive mutations agapornis roseicollis
- Orange face - Red colors now turn into oranges.
- Aqua: yellow psittacin reduces by 50% gives a blue-green bird with its pink mask
- Turquoise: an almost blue bird with greenish areas and a practically white mask.
Mutation linked to the sex of the animal
- Opaline: This mutation contains a red mask spread over the head, it also has green and gray tones.
- Ino: birds practically yellow with some white tones
- Pallid: birds with light colors, light green and blue, gray and pink
