«The Shock Rifle ✅ Jessie ✅ shoot energy orbs that bounce between enemies. His Super deploys a cute but deadly gun tower! "
Jessie is a fighter común which is unlocked as a Trophy Road reward upon reaching 500 trophies. His Super builds a dog-like turret, Scrappy, with moderate damage and health. It is an excellent support, whether attacking, distracting or defending. Jessie has medium health and damage. His mid-range attacks have a high potential for damage because they can bounce when they hit an enemy and can hit other nearby enemies. His first Star Power, Energize, allows him to heal his turret for 800 health points on hit and his second Star Power, Shocky, allows his turret to fire mini energy orbs that can bounce up to two targets.
Attack: shock rifle
Jessie fires an energy orb. After hitting a target, the orb bounces off the next target in range, hitting up to three enemies.Jessie's main attack is a mid-range energy orb with moderate damage and projectile speed, and a small radius. When the orb hits an enemy, it bounces back to the next closest enemy. It can bounce up to 2 times and hit 3 enemies in total before disappearing.
Super: Scrappy!
Jessie deploys a turret that automatically fires at enemies. It is made from 100% recycled materials! "When using her Super, Jessie builds a turret with moderate damage and health. This turret can be launched anywhere within walking distance of Jessie. The turret is stationary and fires rapidly at Brawlers enemies.
Stellar Powers
Energize
Jessie can repair her gun turret for 800 of her missing health by destroying it with her attack.Jessie's star power allows her to hit her turret with her normal attack to heal her and gain 800 HP. The attack will keep bouncing towards the closest enemy as usual and can even track enemies in bushes!
Shocking
Scrappy the Turret now fires orbs of energy that bounce between enemies. The range of the orbs after a bounce is 51% of the normal range. This allows Jessie's turret to fire energy orbs that can hit multiple enemies. Attack speed, range, and turret damage remain the same, but the orb's range after bouncing is less than normal range.
Tips
- After hitting a target, Jessie's attack will always bounce back to the closest enemy that hasn't been hit yet. This can be used to determine enemy positions, even if they are out of range or in a bush.
- On some maps, there are launch pads. If Jessie's Super is charged, placing her turret on the platform will launch her across the map to attack enemies. This allows Jessie to stay out of the way safely while still able to hurt the opposing team. Be careful, you should only use this strategy when you have to do quick damage or create a distraction.
- The rebound mechanic of Jessie's attack can quickly paralyze entire teams. Lock in choke points or linear sections of the map to punish grouped enemies by dealing considerable damage to them and quickly charging up your Super.
- Jessie's turret can cause considerable damage if ignored, making it a great way to distract Brawlers enemies if they try to destroy it.
- Jessie's turret deals small but noticeable damage that stacks up quickly. Unfortunately, it can be easily avoided by running perpendicularly along his direction of attack. Prevent enemies from effectively dodging by placing the turret in a place where it can cover a linear area.
- While in a bush, Jessie's turret will be invisible to enemies unless they are also in the bush and right next to it. However, just like a player, the turret will become visible while attacking or taking damage.
- Due to the mechanism of their attacks, Mortis and Frank in particular fight to destroy Jessie's turrets, and can take a lot of damage in the process. Mortis cannot hit the turret unless he's touching it, and the turret's rapid fire can deal substantial damage as Frank pauses before launching each attack. Consequently, it can be useful to specifically target Frank or Mortis on the enemy team when placing the turret.
- In Heist, Jessie's turret can be placed in front of your safe to help defend against enemies by protecting the safe and dealing damage. Similarly, it can also be used offensively against the enemy safe.
- Energize Star Power will help the turret survive longer and extend Jessie's range by bouncing her attacks. Shocky will allow Jessie's turret attacks to bounce off and potentially hit more enemies.
- Watch out for Penny when setting up your turret to defend yourself, otherwise she could use the turret to do a lot more damage to your safe!
- If you have Jessie's Energize, you can place her turret near a major choke point on the map and keep shooting the turret to heal it while enemies are nearby. This will continuously heal his turret while dealing damage, and your regular attacks can also deal damage to enemies as well.
- Jessie can charge her Super very quickly. 6 hits (or 2 perfect shots) are enough to charge your Super without any pre-existing charge.
- Turret placement is one of the most important skills with Jessie. When facing close range brawlers, you need to place him out in the open so they are forced to attack him while trying to destroy him. When facing long-range brawlers, you need to place it next to their walls, but on the side of your team's wall so they have to walk around the wall to attack it and take damage. When you face the launchers, you can throw it on the wall behind which they hide to damage them.
