«✅Genius✅ use his magic lamp to fire a divided projectile. His super is a magical hand that grabs and brings enemies closer! "
Genie is a fighter mythical He has a moderate amount of health and uses a magic lamp to launch his attacks. His attack can deal high damage to a single enemy or less damage to multiple enemies. Gene's Super grabs an enemy and drags him to Gene's location. His first Star Power, Magic Puffs, heals allies for 400 health per second if they are within 4.5 tiles of him. His second Star Power, Spirit Slap, increases the damage of his main attack by 300 when his Super is fully charged.
Attack: Smoke Burst
Gene shoots a solid ball of magical smoke from his lamp. If the ball misses a target, it splits and spreads the damage into a cone. 'Gene fires a medium-range ball that deals 1000 damage and travels relatively slowly. If it doesn't hit a target, it splits into a cone (similar to Penny) and the damage is spread evenly over 6 projectiles, giving it an additional 5.33 tokens. Note that it will not split when it hits an enemy, unlike Penny.
Super: magic hand
Gene throws a magic hand from his lamp. If the hand hits an enemy, they are taken back to Gene's location! "Gene fires a mid-range hand that passes through obstacles. If he hits an enemy Brawler, he will pull the opponent towards Gene, breaking all walls the enemy goes through and stunning them for half a second. Magic Hand won't break walls if Gene doesn't grab anyone. His attraction is interrupted if his target is hit by a minecart.
Stellar Powers
Magic Puffs
«Gene heals all Brawlers friends around you for 400 health per second.Within a relatively small radius of Gene, all allied fighters will receive 400 health per second. This does not apply to Gene himself or to pets and turrets (i.e.Scrappy, Tick 'Head). The size of this area is roughly the size of the area of effect of Pam's Healing Station.
Spirit Strike
"When Gene's Super is fully charged, it deals +300 damage with its attack."This increases Gene's primary attack damage by 300 once his Super is fully charged, for a total of 1700 damage. The effect is lost if Gene uses his Super.
Tips
- You can extend the extent to which your Super attracts someone by walking backwards as soon as you throw it. It also extends if Gene uses a Launch Pad while firing his Super.
- While an enemy is being dragged by Gene, they cannot do anything. Therefore, it is recommended to start shooting at them the moment you have grabbed them and not after.
- Using Gene's Super and a good time, you could escape great danger. For example, if you are ambushed by a close-range fighter or a marksman like Shelly or El Primo, you can quickly drag a spectator towards you and the fighter chasing you will accidentally attack the dragged fighter as you escape. However, this is difficult to master and must be done quickly or you may die before you can even activate your Super.
- In Duo Showdown, Gene can be deadly when paired with a close-range fighter like Bull, as you can lure someone in and let your teammate finish it off easily.
- Super interrupts enemy attacks and Super, so you can stop Gen Carl from spinning, Frank from Supering, etc.
- Gene's Super is an incredibly useful skill. You can aim for the highest value target and drag it to your team for easy kill. It's also a great way to take on low-health enemies.
- Gene can be played as a poker or suppressor. His shots can provide covering fire and prevent the enemy team from healing or knocking back.
- His Super can be used very effectively in the Big Game to drag the boss into your group of allies so they can deal additional damage.
- The effectiveness of Gene's Super can be more significant when used in events with active modifiers. It can be used to lure enemies into the area where meteorites will land or away from energy drinks and healing mushrooms.
- In Siege, Gene can take out the siege bot from the base with his Super. This can give your team more time to repel the siege. Gene can also push Brawlers Enemies within range of your team's turret when no siege is active for the turret to quickly defeat.
- If you are targeting an enemy Brawler, be careful not to pull a pet or turret, unless necessary.
- Gene has an extremely distant range, surpassing even Piper and Brock. This allows you to safely take out brawlers, preventing them from self-healing or safely charging your Super.
- In Showdown, Gene can wait for 2 or more people to fight and when they are down, he takes one of them and gets a takedown.
- Gene's attraction takes precedence over every object / entity in the game, except against a mine cart or another Gene who is attracting someone. This means Gene can lure enemies into mine carts to deal 2000 damage or save a teammate who is being dragged by another enemy Gene by pulling said Gene.
- Gene's outstanding range makes him capable of damaging the enemy IKE turret without damaging himself. However, keep in mind that this causes subliminal damage and will most likely not decide the outcome of the match by a few percentages.
- You can control bushes with Gene's attack more effectively than others Brawlers because its attack splits, making it easy to check multiple bushes at once.
- Make sure you don't shoot tank fighters like Bull as they'll easily kill you, but it can be convenient if you have high damage teammates near you.
- If an enemy is within 5 tiles or less of you, you can automatically target your Super and almost always hit the target. If an enemy is within 5-7 tokens distance, you can automatically aim your Super if you are mirroring your target's movement.
- Since Gene has a super powerful, you can hold down the Super button and not use it to scare enemies into retreating for fear of being dragged.
- Gene's attacks travel relatively slowly, so you should generally not fire fast when using it unless the situation calls for it, such as point blank.
- Gene's first Star Power, Healing Puffs, grants him the secondary playstyle of a Healer, but only when nearby teammates are in range. Against attacks that aren't penetrating, you can stand in front of your teammates to provide covering fire while healing them.
- Gene's second Star Power, Spirit Slap, grants him a +300 damage boost to his attack when his Super is fully charged. This allows Gene to be more effective in his roles and generally more threatening, especially up close. It is also Gene's only Star Power that affects him in Solo modes.
