This is the moment. After being announced quite some time ago, the long-awaited one arrives, Pokémon Unite, making its first appearance on Nintendo Switch, and will soon arrive on iOS and Android, being free on all platforms, so if you wonder if Pokemon Unite it's different from what you used to, These are the differences of Pokemon Unite, Compared to traditional games Pokemon.
Those players accustomed to the exciting task of collecting all the pokemon from the pokedex, now they face a new challenge; team battles, therefore they will not only have to put effort into training their pokemon to prove to be the best coach, but they have to think about the best way to play with their teammates.
What are the differences of Pokemon Unite
If you wonder what are the differences between the pokemon traditional and the Pokemon Unite Here we mention some of the most outstanding ones:
- Battle 5 vs 5, no pokemon it is as powerful as all of them put together.
- There is no limitation of type or class of pokemon, they are all designed in a balanced way, that is, pikachu as pokemon Electric type will not be stronger than Blastoise which is Water type.
- There are five roles within the game; Attacker, Defenders, Supporter, All-rounder and Speedster, although the game does not force you to faithfully follow each role like other MOBAs.
- Orange is the enemy zone. The objective is simple: defeating the Pokémon that appear on the map and our rivals, we will get points. With those points we will score a goal in the rival zones (which would be the 'LoL' turrets).
- Each team has two zones on the streets and one zone near the base (which would be the Nexus). The winner is the one who destroys all the bases first or the one who, after the ten minutes that each game lasts, has managed to score the most goals.
- Unlike other MOBAs, where you build your equipment according to how the game goes in Pokemon Unite, you cannot buy items during the game, although you can equip your Pokémon with some items before the game to improve their movement speed, attack, etc.
- It goes straight to the point, without the need to do missions or take detours, the objective is to fight and win as much as possible.
- You don't have to explore the area to catch pokemon, just achieve a lot of wins to earn coins and unlock more pokemon.
- Each Pokémon has a basic attack, two main abilities, and an ultimate, a more powerful attack that we will unlock throughout the game and that has a much more important effect on the game.
I hope it has been helpful. We will read in the next installment!
