Ping is a measure of how well your computer is communicating with the server. Fortnite, and knowing how far it goes is a great help so that the game does not get out of hand. In this Post we will explain where you can see the ping on the Fortnite screen.
Where to see the Ping while playing Fortnite
The PINg or Packet Internet Groper is the program that establishes the speed of communication or data transmission between the Epic games servers to your PC or console.
To see the Ping from the PC follow these simple steps:
- Login to Fortnite Battle Royale and select any battle mode.
- After the game is loaded, press ESC on the computer to display the lobby screen.
- Ping is a variable that will only be available during the course of a match or battle.
- In the Fortnite game, press ESC to be able to see the different options of the game.
- Select the settings menu, the cogwheel that is in the upper right part of the game.
- Then click on the Game Interface section.
- There you will have to go to settings, where you make sure that the real error statistics option is activated. If it is not activated, activate it and save changes.
- The ping will be displayed at the top left of the game. The ideal ping value is in the order of 80 ms, if they are above they are insufficient for the game, and can be the cause of connection failures.
